Concerts start at 7:00 pm. Movie starts at 8:30 pm.

This is a FREE event for the whole family featuring two musical performances prior to the movie. Vocalist Samara Reign and Sitar player Kaira Soin will each take you on a musical journey prior to tonight’s featured movie. See their bios below.

Next it is popcorn and movie time! Tonight’s movie is The Sandlot (Rated PG).

Bring your blanket or low chairs and enjoy a family friendly concert, movie, popcorn and fun! Free for the whole family! Bring a picnic or to-go from one of our local restaurants and enjoy the Tolt Commons with your neighbors.

Bios:

Samara Reign is a 20 years old vocalist, yet she has been singing since the young age of 4. She began singing in public with her church choir at 11. Starting at 13, she began working with Teen Summer Musical. Samara continues to sing with her church and sings regularly at events around the area. She is currently the lead singer in the band Aurora Avenue, which she met as a participant in STG’s More Music @ The Moore. Samara aims to continue sharing her art with the local community and beyond!

Kaira Soin is a budding musician, training in the Indian classical string instrument, Sitar. She was born and raised in Seattle and has been learning music since the age of four. She discovered Sitar from her science teacher at the age of eight and has been training under his guidance and other accomplished Sitarists. Kaira has performed and won regional and international competitions in Indian Classical music and has performed at international venues like the Royal Albert Hall (London), Solitär Mozarteum (Salzburg), Kleine Zaal Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), and Carnegie Hall (New York). Kaira is an alum of STG’s More Music @ The Moore. Kaira hopes to make fusion music, incorporating the sitar with various other instruments and styles of music. IG:@kairasoin
