About

The Carnation Planning and Parks Board is a seven-member body comprised of an appointed group of Carnation residents that provide advice, counsel, and recommendations to the Carnation City Council regarding planning and parks matters. The Board meets the fourth Tuesday of each month.

In the past, the Planning Board and Parks Advisory Board were two separate entities, who merged into one body in June of 2023. The Planning and Parks Board voted to recommend the merge to the Carnation City Council on June 27, with a unanimous vote among all present members. On July 18th, City Council voted to heed to the recommendation of the Boards, officially forming the Planning and Parks Board.
